Thoth-Prince of Disks

The Tarot Apokalypsis-Prince of Pentacles

Tree of life ( the God molecule)

The 6th Sephiroth- Tiphareth, the power behind the princes is the Golden Sephiroth and The Central Sun of our conscious energy expression into incarnation; our Soul-Psyche and/or Solar Self. Tiphareth is called Beauty and is as high as our Personal Conscious can go up the Tree without an enclosure (The Priestess or Chariot, encloses). This state of Consciousness is known in the Mysteries, as the Christ, or Buddha consciousness and it brings the body into a "higher" state of vibratory life force that we know as "unconditional Love”, while also changing the physiology by doing so. However, only through diligent meditative techniques and ritual divination is this conscious state possible in our physical experience. This is because indoctrination, media, and dogma have placed a membrane of "words" between our soul and our brain... a type of word hypnosis. In other words, the Patriarchy has profaned our identity, thereby dividing us from our inner authority. This Divisionism has also placed a "membrane" of words between our left and right brain. Thereby, dividing and conquering the male and female halves of our brain, creating an antagonistic division. Our bodies have become a divided house.

The Prince of Disks (Also called the Prince or Knight of Pentacles/Stones/Coins, in other Tarot Decks), is the Western Magic Prince of the Chariot of Earth, Prince and Emperor of the Gnomes, and is attributed to the last Decan of Aries and the first two Decan of Taurus. This Prince represents the Air of Earth and/ or Specific Air of Primal Earth (Intelligence of Primal Earth). The Chariot of the Prince of Disks is pulled by the Bull of Taurus, demonstrating this zodiac attribute and animal symbol for the fertile earth. Being Air of Earth, the Prince is Intelligible Earth, as Air is Mind and Earth is matter. Hence, he is considered the intelligence of Organic Matter. Thus, he brings incredible energy to physical matters. Such intelligent Earth, is the instinctual -natural mind that shows its incredible focus on building, as in bees, ants, birds, etc. We know this intelligence as DNA/RNA molecule which is considered an intelligent molecule by our modern science. It is also considered to be 9.6 billion years old. This is interesting since the earth is only 4.6 billion years old and life on earth is only 3.8 billion years old! Hence, our DNA is an alien molecule!

Because the Prince of Disks is so physically active, his armor is light and unrestrictive. On his head is the Bull helmet, an animal sacred to the earth. The disk in his hand is an orb resembling a globe, marked in agricultural mathematical symbols. The orbed scepter that is surmounted by a cross is a symbol of the Great Work accomplished. The Great Work manifesting the Higher States of Conscious Energy in the lower/animal states of consciousness below on earth; by physical focus and attention to work. What many of us don't understand, but the prince does, is that if you empty your brain of random thoughts, while only focusing on the task at hand, you are meditating and thereby achieving perfect results! Even a daily commute in your car, with the radio off, and doing nothing but "hands on the wheel" driving, while paying absolute attention to traffic, is a meditation which allows intuition to aid one in avoiding accidents! Therefore, the Prince of Disks' intelligence knows that multi-tasking is just another way to do nothing well.

The Green Man

The Prince of Disks, also represents the Green Man force of Celtic mysteries, the Greek god Pan, whose job it is to bring forth, from the Earthly element, that Vegetation which is the substance of Spirit itself. Mother Earth makes the form, he enlivens it and enforces the design. Therefore, the Archetypal Character of the Prince of Disks is methodical, competent, ingenious, enduring, trustworthy, cautious, and imperturbable. All the qualities of a very capable manager and a steadfast preserving worker. Exceptionally good at horticulture and hard, patient work.

This Prince of Mind and Earth is ingenious as he constantly seeks new ways of using common things, always adapting the circumstance to his slow and methodical purpose. This is to say that his plans are well thought out and he does excellent "hands-on" work. His emotions are subdued; thus, he may appear insensitive and even dull and slow of wit. But this is because of misinterpretation of his mental activity of which he won't devote to ideas that he understands to be beyond his expertise. Simply, the reaction of others to this stalwart character depends entirely on their temperament and not his.

Thoth-prince of disks

As stated, in his left hand is the Globe of Earth with geometric symbols implying agriculture (which is an invention of Binah-the Great Mother represented by the Queen of Disks); behind him and part of the chariot backing, are fat -round seeds just ready to explode into life and in his right hand is the orb- scepter adorned with the equal armed cross (Fire-Air-Water-Earth) a symbol of the Great Work (Life) accomplished. He is the stable but active force of the "Green man" as he brings forth from the Earth, vegetation which is the substance that Spirit enlivens. Another reason he is barely clothed is because we have a "pan-force" here who is both fertile and lustful...like a bull. He is Earth's Husband/Son; Husband in the Anglo-Saxon Matriarchal culture translates into the English as "keeper of her property". Therefore, He is often seen as a Caretaker of Gaia's Forms and Forests.

tarot personality birth wheel

This Personality is one of great energy brought into practical matters. He is energetic, enduring, steadfast, a capable manager, and tireless worker. His many qualities are shown in a character that is competent, ingenious, thoughtful, cautious, trustworthy, and imperturbable. On a consistent basis, he invents new uses for common things and adapts his circumstances to his purpose in a slow deliberate, well thought out manner. Thus, some may think him slow and stupid, to their peril, for he is totally lacking in emotion and is insensitive and is very clever. Most often, he makes no effort to delve into ideas he believes are beyond his scope and may find the more "esoteric" types aggravating. The Prince of Disks personality is slow to anger, but once he is angered---you have an implacable charging bull to contend with and physically this person can be quite "bull-like". It is almost impossible to differentiate between "Well dignified" or "ill dignified" characteristics of this Card. Suffice it to say, that if "ill dignified" (surrounded by Lower emotional cards) then the quality and quantity of his character is degraded to the point of being duller, slower, and even less empathetic.

Also, one wouldn't want too many Princes of Disks personalities in one room for these types change the world with their great energy brought to bear upon the most solid of practical matters. To emphasize this, I'll list a few of the Prince of Disk personalities that have been recorded on earth; Marcus Aurelius, William Shakespeare, Catherine the Great, (Yup, women can have a Prince of Disks personality), Thomas Jefferson, Robespierre, Ulysses S. Grant, Sigmund Freud, Karl Marx, Nikolai Lenin, Adolf Hitler, Emperor Hirohito, Robert Oppenheimer, Harry Truman, Golda Meir, and Saddam Hussein. I think that's enough of a list to prove my point!

In the mundane world, the Prince of Disk's personality is often referred to in the common vernacular as "the salt of the Earth" because his/her character is usually so trustworthy. And like all "slow quiet types" s/he is easy to have a good relationship with...but terrible in anger. S/He is a force of Nature, which should be respected and loved as a force in all of us, and a very necessary "power of the body" needed by Spiritual-Life itself. The Power of Spirit must be aligned with the Power of the Body----to become a "Holy Spirit"...for those Souls who malign the body, proclaiming its nature as evil, are doomed to failure in the Great Work and soon become enslaved workers for the Patriarchy and subdue their body with unhealthy habits. Life obviously adores the body, and we are a Spiral Energy Expression of Life (Spirit and Spiral come from the same Greek root word Spiro-to breathe). It's okay to adore your body---if you know that all bodies "are another way to be you" and that the purpose of Spirit is to make bodies live sensually in the name of I AM!

The Tarot Apokalypsis-Prince of Pentacles

The Tarot Apokalypsis-Prince of Pentacles, Karttikeya, Kartikeya (Sanskrit: कार्त्तिकेय, romanized: Kārttikeya), also known as Skanda, Subrahmanya, Shanmukha (IAST: Ṣaṇmukha), Murugan (Tamil: முருகன்), and செய்யோன் is the Hindu god of war. Karttikeya is the son of Parvati and Shiva, the brother of Ganesha and a god whose legends have many versions in Hinduism. (From Wikipedia).

The iconography of Karttikeya varies significantly; he is typically represented as an ever-youthful man, riding or near an Indian peafowl, called Paravani,[16] bearing a vel and sometimes with an emblem of a rooster upon his banner. Most icons show him with only one head, but some show him with six heads which reflect the legend surrounding his birth.[9][10][12] He is described to have aged quickly from childhood, becoming a philosopher-warrior, destroyed the demons Tarakasura, Simhamukha and Surapadma, and taught the pursuit of an ethical life and the theology of Shaiva Siddhanta.[10][11] He has inspired many poet-saints, such as the aforementioned Arunagirinathar.[

Etymology and nomenclature

Sculpture of the god Skanda, from Kannauj, North India, circa 8th century.

Karttikeya means "of the Krittikas".[10] This epithet is linked to his birth. According to Hindu legends, when Karttikeya appears on the banks of the River Ganga, he is seen by the six of the seven brightest stars of Kṛttikā nakshatra (Pleiades). These stars, personified as his mothers, all wanted to take care of him and nurse the baby Karttikeya. Karttikeya ended the dispute by growing five more heads in order to have a total of six heads so that he could look at all six mothers and let them each nurse one aspect of him.[10][20]

He has 108 names according to Tamil and Sanskrit folklore

The Indian Peafowl is also associated with Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and music. All peafowl are mostly known for their “eye” feathers and originate from the Indian subcontinent. Their tails convey beauty and confidence, and thus, over time, these birds came to represent royalty and power in many cultures and backgrounds. In India, this is most evident in the famed Peacock Throne.

These types of personalities are the demiurges of Ambition. They are sensual and generous lovers, willing to learn, although lacking imagination. This is because their eye is always on the prize, making them seem "offish" and/or inattentive to others. This Cherubic energy also elevates people to a higher level of values, loyalty, and honor. However, these impulses can establish a long-term balance with little progress. Therefore, it is essential then to break away from these habits and/or material restraints, thereby, putting our energy and passions back into circulation.

Both the Tarot Apokalypsis-Prince of Pentacles and Thoth Prince of Disks represent a steadfast personality, that is not thwarted by environmental issues, and even in the "dead winter of opinions" they will pursue their goals. What applies to the Thoth card will easily apply to this Tarot Apokalypsis card. The image here seems to say, "Keep your pace, slow and steady, learn to overcome your obstacles but be careful not to trip over your ego". They are very responsible people, conscientious and executive.

When the Prince of Disks/Prince of Pentacles, is thrown during a reading, depending on the position and the surrounding cards, implies:

  • Issues of physical activity. Such as, bodybuilding, muscle tone, sports, and a steel like resolve to move through issues and remove blocks.
  • The querent or person important to them, is in a kind of Moving meditation, a focus on the material world, experiencing personal balance and productivity.
  • Becoming or is a builder who works steady towards their goals and being singularly focused on establishing security.
  • The querent, or important person, is both kind and trustworthy and will complete a long and laborious task, "come hell or high water".
  • There is suggested a Mastery here, of change and harvest procured by knowledge and productivity.
  • The Pragmatic person.
  • Keeping a slow and steady pace.

If ill defined by the surrounding cards, it implies:

  • Stubbornness (which is not always negative!)
  • Phlegmatic nature.
  • Stagnation.
  • Not inclined to take risks even if risks are justified.
