The Dreams of Gaia Tarot- 3 of Water, represents satisfaction, implying that you have come to a time of celebration, a time to rejoice in life and your success. Here we see a Ocean Gaia, who is confident, with arms raised in victorious celebration. Here is the triumphant Hawaiian Goddess of the Sea, Nãmaka, who has again won over her sister Pelé, the volcano goddess.* She has invested well in her creative endeavors, being well satisfied with her accomplishments. Being positive and hopeful that this trend shall continue, she turns to greet the future with anticipation and excitement.

*In Hawaiian mythology, Nāmaka (or Nā-maka-o-Kahaʻi, the eyes of Kahaʻi) appears as a sea goddess or a water spirit in the Pele cycle. She is an older sister of Pele-honua-mea.^[1][2]

She is the daughter of Ku-waha-ilo and Haumea, whose other children are Pele, the Hiʻiaka sisters, the Kama brothers, and the bird Halulu. Aukelenuiaiku becomes Namaka's husband in Kahiki, but then later the husband of Pele, and because of this Pele, the Hiʻiaka sisters, Malulani, and Kaʻōhelo migrate to Hawaii. When Pele quarrels with her powerful sister, Namaka, Namaka sends tidal waves to destroy Pele's lands and homes. Helped by her family, Pele fights Namaka, but Namaka defeats her.^[3]

In Thrum's Kane-huna-moku myth Nāmaka is called the chiefess of the Mu and Menehune people when they are summoned to build the watercourse for Kikiaola at Waimea on Kauaʻi (Beckwith 1970:193, 495).

When Pele causes a conflagration by staying too close to the fire god Lono-makua, Nāmaka drives her away (Beckwith 1970:170). Another legend mentions that Nāmaka's guardian dog, Moela is reduced to ashes when he touches Aukele (Beckwith 1970:348).

Cancer is a water sign, and is under the command of the Moon. Therefore, we have Cardinal Water, i.e. Consciousness. The 3 of Cups represents the perfect affinity with Binah, who is "Will to Form".

The rushing water, swift and extravagant as it overflows the Pomegranate cups, represents the gifts of Mercury. The Water arises from a single cup which denotes the "dark calm Sea of Binah" a characteristic of the Unconscious from which all consciousness springs. She is also seen as Persephone (spring), to whom the Pomegranate is sacred. With the Plenty of Persephone as spring, this card represents plenty, hospitality, and abundance in Love. As Crowley stated: "The idea of love has come to fruition", and he goes on to relate this card to Persephone: "The pomegranate was the fruit which Persephone ate in the realms of Pluto, thereby, enabling him to hold her in the lower world. This contains an allusion to the ambivalence of Venusian joys, to they are expressed in the double symbolism of the apple (cf. "Pentagon", pag. 45.)

 Those who have been following these blogs know by now that Binah, the 3rd Sephiroth on the Tree of Life, is "will to form", and underlying force that makes imagination a womb. She is the Will of the Womb of all forms, not the birthing channel, itself for that is reserved to the Action of Chesed- the Sphere of Mercy. Again the sexing of this forces is limiting and short on insight. Chesed, the 4th Sephiroth, may be Masculine in its expression of form, and yet it is feminine as it receives the Will of Binah.

What may surprise you, is that none of us are the sex of our bodies. We are Androgynous, in that we are both receptive (female) and expressive (male); both magnetic (female) and electric (male). Image-maker, is what the Imagination means, and that dear soul, is God's/Divine Creative's Power. So get off of your propaganda enslaved butt and stand up and Yell-----I AM Me! By making you actually believe that you are separate from spirit (seeking spirituality) the dogmatic religions of the Patriarchy have you believing the body is an embarrassment, a shameful device, and a lower form of life. Nudity means "sex" in the Patriarch's dogma. Which can't be farther from the truth. The body is Spirit's Sacred Temple on Earth, and nudity is purity, unashamed, self-confidence and a state of love that is called Eros-Greek for love of flesh. Spirits love of flesh is obvious, for Spirit is from the Greek word Spiro, which means breath and/or to breathe. You are breathing; Hence, you are loved by Spirit as it's "Sacred house" in the realm of matter. You can't be any closer to your Spiritual Self than you are now! Spirit is your Original Identity! Spirit is Here-There-Everywhere, so what gives with this seeking shit? To seek, is to deny you are it! It is that very denial that blinds your "I's" to whom you "think" you are! I AM Spirit! I AM Mind! I AM Body! Hence, I Am Me, a Ternary expression of Self on multidimensions, including the dimension of flesh. I AM Eros (Love of Flesh) I Am Philo (Brotherly love) I Am Agapé (love of Spirit). Now how do you get "more spiritual" than that? All of us have inherited the Name of The Divine Creative: I AM!
