The 3 of Cups-Abundance is also called the Lord of Abundance, by Crowley. Here Mercury is in Cancer, The Angels of the Decan Rachael and Yehomayah.

The 3 of Cups, signifies the influence of the 3rd Sephiroth- Binah in Briah, the mental World.

Cancer is a watersign, and is under the command of the Moon. Therefore, we have Cardinal Water, i.e. Consciousness. The 3 of Cups is perfect affinity with Binah, who is both Understanding and "Will to Form".

The swift and extravagant rushing water, overflows the Pomegranate cups, represents the gifts of Mercury and the 3 states of love: Eros (love of flesh), Philo (brotherly or family love) and Agapé (Spiritual love/love of spirit). The Water arises from a single cup which denotes the "dark calm Sea of Binah" a characteristic given to the Universal Collective Unconscious from which all consciousness springs. Here Mother Binah, is presented as Persephone (spring), to whom the Pomegranate is sacred. With the Plenty of Persephone as spring, this card represents plenty, hospitality, and abundance. Binah is "will to form" for she Understands the Wisdom of Chokmah. Understanding is underlying force that makes imagination a womb. As a function known by both Physics and Qabalah, an idea which once understood, becomes information which in this universal of physical being, becomes, in-form-action.

Therefore, She, the Trinity Goddess of Maid-Mother-Crone, is the Will of the Womb of all forms, not the Womb itself for that is reserved to the Action of the 4th Sephiroth-Chesed the Sphere of Mercy and the architect of measurement. Again the sexing of these forces is limiting and short on insight as we think of sex as a form of species, rather than the Qabalistic insight of sex as an action of intelligence/energy. Chesed may be Masculine in its expression of form/measurement, and yet it is feminine as it receives the Will of Binah.

What may surprise you, is that none of us are the sex of our bodies. We are all representatives of the Androgynous-Soul, in that we are both receptive (female) and expressive (male); both magnetic (female) and electric (male). Being Electromagnetic copy of the Divine Creative, The Soul has great power, "to be or not to be". The body is therefore a tool, powered by the Electromagnetic Entity that you are. For as a power tool the human body is unexcelled, but as its operator, you are beyond the reason of bodies and way beyond the "small ego" that tells you it is you. This is the great deception of an indoctrinated ego.

You are obviously a "Will to be" which is very much a combination of “Will to Force” and "Will to Form", so here is a kicker, YOU ARE THE IMAGINATION and the Imagined and/or the Dream and the Dreamer. Remember, Hu is Mandarin for God and Man is from the Hindu word for mind-Mannas the combination of which is called a God Mind! The body is not described in the world human. So you are a Hu-Man, who owns a animal body we call the homo sapiens sapiens. The HuMan is also called Adam Khadmon in Western Hermetic Qabalah and/or Horus in Egyptian/Thoth Tarot.

Image-maker, is what the Imagination means, and that dear soul, is the Divine Creative's Power. It is also our "inherited Mind" as Solar/Soul Selves of the Divine Collective. So my advice is to get off of your suffering butt and stand up and Yell-----I AM Me! And get on with you, for self- impeccability is what you came to do as Spirit-Mind-Body! Remember, what we command in this Universe of information becomes our own image-in form-action. Take charge of yourself and stop blaming environment, or person or thing. Sure they may influence, but they only have the power you give them. What you are is up to your Passionate use of Imagination and the Mars like power of declaration! The 3 of Cups-Abundance, reminds us of the Abundant love that flows from Maid-Mother-Crone, to us, Her Divine Children.

The Tarot of Druids-3 of Chalices, represents the old bardic school of new knowledge, and learning by poetry and song. Here, not only do the chieftains enjoy abundance, they are also learning new things while relaxing during a conference, probably to make new law and renew contracts.
