Always be true to Thine own self!
thoth-3 of wands-virtue
Virtue is the effective and potent force necessary for putting thoughts into action. This is the holy balance of the number three that defines and clarifies the identity of I (spirit) AM (mind) ME (body), where you see yourself more clearly as a presence standing in your Spiritual-Mental-Physical power.
The Lost Soul Tarot- 3 of Wands
Virtue/integrity is the conscious state of soul, mind and physical action working in concert with each other; seen as three lotus blooms in united purpose on the Thoth Card. Where I AM ME is a dynamic united ternary creative action rather than a "Wanna-Be" dream of powerless separation.
On the Thoth 3 of Wands, the sign of the Sun, above and Aries below, represents the astrological sign of the Sun in the house of Aries, symbolizing radiant dynamic energy moving in new directions but from a foundation of virtue. The communion of Spirit, Mind, and physical action is a holy mass of dynamic creativity that "does unto another, what you would have done to you"...a virtuous motion that assists life in its ever-forward expansion.
People born under the sun sign of Aries, which falls between March 21st and April 19th, are often associated with certain characteristics. Keep in mind that these traits are generalizations, and individual experiences may vary. Here are some typical characteristics of individuals born under the sign of Aries:
Assertiveness: Aries individuals are known for their boldness and assertive nature. They are not afraid to take charge and lead others.
Independence: Independence is a key trait of Aries. They value their freedom and autonomy, often preferring to make their own decisions.
Energetic: Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of energy and action. As a result, individuals born under this sign tend to be energetic, dynamic, and enthusiastic.
Courageous: Aries individuals are known for their bravery and willingness to take risks. They often face challenges head-on without fear.
Impulsivity: The impulsive nature of Aries can sometimes lead to spontaneous actions. While this trait can be adventurous, it's essential to balance it with consideration.
Competitiveness: Aries individuals have a competitive streak. They enjoy challenges and are driven to succeed, sometimes turning everyday activities into competitions.
Short Temper: Aries individuals may have a quick temper, but their anger tends to be short-lived. They express their emotions openly and move on quickly.
Optimism: Positivity is a common trait among Aries individuals. They tend to approach life with optimism and enthusiasm.
Remember, these are general traits, and individuals may exhibit a mix of characteristics from their sun sign, moon sign, rising sign, and other astrological factors. It's always essential to consider the full birth chart for a more accurate picture.
The Lost Soul Tarot-3 of Wands
The Lost Soul Tarot-3 of Wands displays 3 leafy and therefore, fertile wands with wrap around serpentine vines. The serpentine vines indicate the wave like action of the fiery energy that is represented by the element of fire. The image itself is plane, although decorative but does imply a union of three and/or a trinity of Self, that is Spirit-Mind-Body, all in support of each other and thereby, forming a strong foundation from which to operate.
The primary meanings associated with the Lost Soul Tarot-3 of Wands are travel and adventure. Here one is spreading their wings, maybe even moving abroad or involved in a long-distance relationship. This card states that you are free, confident, moving and planning forward. Hence, your hard work is paying off.
The Sun is full-out and Shinning in the Three/3 of Wands on the Thoth and the Lost Soul Tarot as if it is spring. The first house is Aries and is associated with spring as well as being the sign of Cardinal Fire ruled by Mars. Mars is the power to do War, to vanquish or succeed and is a great emotional period of powerful solar energy flowing through the querent, who must be Virtuous at all times, "or be slain by the Arrows of Apollo", a Greek Sun god.
This is also "full on" sexual energy, as Tarot -3 of Wands implies the fecund and fertile energy that is passion and life force itself. Therefore, this indicates a time that can be quite a rush towards creation, as the flaming Mars colored background of the Thoth Deck represents. Therefore, be Virtuous or "all hell will break loose".
Now don't get me wrong, this is not about Chasity, this is about the type of energetic manifestation of the Solar Phallus, that Tantric practitioners, Sufi and Gnostics, seek to experience, as it enlivens the dormant seeds of solar- self, just as spring does to the dormant seeds of winter. It is an adorable fire but as any fire with too much fuel, this can become uncontrollable to the untrained personality. So, take great care with great energy. Never lose focus when passion's delicious heat is rocketing you down the road of creation. Just like driving a very fast car with throttle down, lose concentration, and you lose control experiencing a big crash!
The Tarot-3 of Wands and the 3rd Sephiroth-Binah:
By now, you know that "Mother Binah"- the Great Creatrix- besides being the 3rd Sephirotic Being on the tree of life, is also known as Understanding. One may think she is separate from self: However, she is an aspect of your own Energetic Collective Unconscious and Psych. We are all quantumly connected to the Universal Collective Unconscious (C. Jung).
The prefix Un tends to make one think of something "less than" consciousness, nothing can be farther from the Truth. Here Un just designates the Unseen, the Unknowable, the Un that is One. Being unseen does not mean less in any way, any more than unseen H-bombs are less powerful than the one on your doorstep or that 99.6% of your whole Self which is the Unseen light of the Psyche that is empowering you in all ways. It is ridiculous to think that 99% of your energy intelligence is under the control of .4% and/or the material body whose subconscious is suffering under an infection of the "mind virus" of indoctrination, word hypnosis, and dogma ---but most people do. (See the book: Wetiko-healing the mind virus that plaques our world-by Paul Levy)
This limited thought makes no sense as the Power of Spirit is all around you, it is you, and yet you don't see it and therefore you believe your body senses are in control. The Solar being surrounds you in rainbow light of fiery spirit and a fertile sea of fluid Mind: The balance of fire and water are the foundation of all creation and controlled strength. Water is also the symbol of imagination and intuition.
However, many of us are unaware of the mind virus residing in our subconscious. We mistakenly identify its parasitic influence as our true selves. This is not due to any personal inadequacy but is rooted in the fact that 99.6% of the electromagnetic spectrum, from which we emanate (Central Sun of the Milky Way), is invisible to the naked eye and beyond the awareness of our waking consciousness. Yet, its presence can be felt as an intense energetic sensation generated by the mere 0.4% of our Self represented by the physical body.
The "naked eye" is essentially a complex camera lens, projecting upside down images into the brain. Individual observation, programming, indoctrination, and dogmatic experiences interpret these images, contributing to our limited perspective. This limitation is crucial for navigation, preventing us from encountering harm as we traverse our physical environment and the planet.
In contrast, the Psyche/Soul possesses farsightedness, capable of foreseeing the future and reflecting on the past and adding new perspective to future motion. This ability safeguards us from stumbling into unforeseen pitfalls or repeating mistakes that render progress futile.
The Three of Wands tarot card suggests the virtue of maintaining constant communication among the entire Self—a trinity of I-AM-Me (Spirit-Mind-Body). In simpler terms, it advocates staying true to oneself. However, achieving this virtue necessitates self-knowledge, which extends beyond mere belief systems, requiring active engagement with a system of knowledge that we know as Spirit-Mind-Body.
Hermes Trismegistus (Thrice great)
Each of us are a ternary individual that is akin to Hermes/Mercury Trismegistus—a messenger of the Divine fashioned by a trinity of wisdom: Spiritual Wisdom, Mental Wisdom, and the Wisdom of the Soma (body). Each aspect forms a trinity of integrity and virtue.
I Am born of the Central Sun.
Consciousness itself is a child-Psyche/Soul of the Divine Collective Unconscious of the Universe and the Central Solar energy; That mother of Consciousness, is Binah. In the Great Sea of Imagination (I-magi-nation), your image floats in the amniotic fluid of "Will-to-Form"; Binah is the Great Will to Form of the Sea of Unconscious. Everything is from the Universal Collective Unconsciousness, who gives birth to the SON/SUN, Consciousness, including the subconscious we call the "false ego" and/or the survival mind of the body, whose falseness is made for it by media-controlled symbols and word hypnosis. Contrary to the misogynistic dogma of the Patriarchy (Military Industrial Complex) the "Son of God" is not a gender, it really is the "Sun of God", and/or Vital Energy of the Divine that animates the living.
The Texts of the Golden Dawn said it best:
" In Binah is a thick darkness which yet veileth the Divine Glory in which all colors are hidden, wherein mystery, depth, and silence, and yet, it is the habitation of the Supernal Light. There The Supernal Triad is complete. And the Sphere of its Operation is Shabbathi, or rest, and it giveth forms and similitudes unto chaotic matter and it ruleth the sphere of action of the planet Saturn. And Jehovah Elohim is the perfection of Creation and Life of the World to Come. And the Archangel is Tzaphqiel, the Prince of the Spiritual Strife against Evil and the name of the Angels is Arahim, the strong and mighty Ones who are also called the Order of Thrones."
"The order of Thrones" are represented as the Four Queens of the Tarot who are united with the Four Kings, their Husbands and/or consorts.
The four 3's, represent the realization of the Action (conception) of the prince (Solar Self) having been conceived (Son/Sun of God), symbolized as the central flaming figure on Thoth tarot cards. Action is launched for good or evil, but with Virtue, it is for the expansion and liberation of Self as Life.
I can offer insights into the concept of the "Mighty Ones" within the framework of the Golden Dawn and Western Hermetic Qabalah. In this context, the term "Mighty Ones" refers to a distinct group of entities integral to the Qabalistic and magical cosmology within the Golden Dawn tradition.
Within the Golden Dawn system, the "Mighty Ones" are specifically associated with the Sephira Binah on the Tree of Life. Binah, the third sephira, is often symbolized as the "Great Mother" or the "Supernal Mother" and is linked to the divine feminine, the domain of understanding, and the emanation of wisdom.
In this particular context, the "Mighty Ones" are perceived as potent spiritual intelligences or archangels residing in Binah. Referred to as the "Thrones" or the "Chairs," they act as intermediaries between the higher spiritual realms and the material world. These beings are believed to transmit divine wisdom and understanding to seekers through their spiritual practices and magical endeavors.
Each sephira on the Tree of Life in Qabalah is associated with specific spiritual entities, and the "Mighty Ones" hold particular significance within the Golden Dawn and Hermetic Qabalah framework. They play a crucial role in the mystical and magical exploration of the Tree of Life, often being invoked or meditated upon by practitioners seeking spiritual insight and enlightenment.
Thus, in the Three of Wands, the Solar Self- Wands conception is shown on the Thoth Tarot, as central flames radiating outward that form the Supernal Union of the upper Triad on the Tree of Life. In the center, is a diamond shape that implies "as above so below". Here, Understanding, Love, and Will are united as One-Self.
Mars
THE THREE OF WANDS-VIRTUE, is also called the Lord of Established Strength. Well noted, as the Sun is in Aries here. There is great power where the Sun illuminates Aries, the Cardinal Sign of Fire often related to Mars (Mars is the Old Roman god equivalent of Aries).
The Truth about Self=Read Daily to make you immune to the mind virus.
The Three of Wands also represents Binah's Love and understanding influencing the World of Pure Spirit (Atziluth), the Supernal (upper) Triangle of the Qabalistic Tree of Life which represents the Universal One- Self.
Shown on the Thoth card, the three crossed Wands indicate the balance of Chokmah, Binah and the birth of Tiphareth-Beauty, the Sun (son), and/or The Prince who marries the Princess (Vau Heh). Growth begins and is shown on the card as the unfolding lotus blossoms (Thoth) or white rose blossoms (Western Magic) opening to the Warm and Bright Energy of Aries.
To an astrologer, the entry of the Sun into the sign of Aries heralds' spring.
Thus, both Thoth and the Lost Soul Tarot 3 of Wands cards sport the blazing colors of the Warm Sun, depicting great strength for individual expression. Here also is absolute power that can corrupt absolutely; thus egocentricity, pride and conceit are lurking dangers. Yet we have Virtue here, the key to Spiritual integrity and honesty. The caveat here is "to never violate yourself, for without a strong self-trust, one cannot succeed."
This Tarot card can be called a Christmas Card, for it is about the Union of Chokma (Masculine Energy Conscious of Will to Force-King) and Binah (Feminine Energy Conscious of Will to Form-Queen) and the resulting birth of the prince which is Tiphareth (Beauty/The Golden Child that is the Soul) on the Qabalistic Tree of Life. Astrologically, the entrance of the Sun (circle with a center dot) into Aries (the V sign) traditionally heralds the Spring.
The Great Mother has received the transmitted Will and conceives, prepares and by Understanding, gives birth to its manifestation of the Solar Self-Awareness that is the Soul. The Soul then creates its own Self-Image made by "self-reflection", in the Material World. Hence, your truth is I AM, and your identity is an assumption created by your declaration of I AM.
This is the harmonious union of I (Chokmah), Am (Binah) and Me (the Soul Persona). It is Spiritual Integrity, as the three aspects of Spirit (Spirit-Mind-Body) are conjoined, for everything is "of Spirit" and to see separation, when all is a collective copy, is to have a brain bound in chains of falsehood.
The Human Merkabah (Throne of God)- (the Eight-Light Bodies of the Solar Self). The Physical body is also made up of Light, in its coagulation.
It can't be said enough: Virtue, is always being true to yourself; this Truth being the union of spirit, body and mind conjoined in agreement. Some people would call this listening to your heart and acting with heart felt determination. Without self-trust, Virtue is not possible, and our subconscious survival practice of self-dishonesty will make us victims of our own viral deceit which in turn makes progress impossible, for we are only "short sighted" as a parasite is covering our "I's".
I AM
Therefore, the three of Wands card reminds us to clarify and redefine our Identity to the Original Form of I AM Me, "The Real Person" called The Soul, and no longer accept identity from words, from the brain, from those around us and/or our environment. We are not Man-Made, nor brain made, we are Spirit---a spiral-solar energy conscious that spins through time-space building self-images from focused thought of I AM. Thought is the first material of self-identity, which must be "understood" into manifested image. For this thought of SELF, becomes our only visible identity as in-form-action and/or the motion of Life.
Divine Inheritance
All of us are the Princes and Princesses of The Divine King and Queen of this Universe, i.e. Children of God/the Divine Creative who inherit the Universe. But as in all inheritances, one doesn't earn it, one claims it! We know how, for we are the Original I AM's identity. Just by saying "I AM...", is declaration! I AM health, wealth, and wellbeing, is a claim on our Divine Inheritance, whereas, I AM Sick, poor, and depressed, is our rejection of it, imposed by dogma and indoctrination. Man does not make wealth...
The Great Divine She is the cornucopia of Wealth!
Therefore, the 3 of Wands Tarot card represents great strength in individual expression which when ill defined, can also mean egocentricity which may manifest as pride and conceit which are a mental pollution. Pride and conceit are easily avoided by treating others as you want to be treated, although achieving that without Virtue is not done. The Three of Wands card also symbolizes the Fire of Will, and increasing energy known as the inner fire and/or inner light; the spiritual power that is inherent in our eight light-bodies who cast forth a coagulation of Light that we call the human body.
Often, we have heard the name of God and/or the Divine Creative defined as I AM. We have forgotten that the birth of self-image has been called "ME", a collective copy of assumed Self-Awareness. Even many of our religions say that we are made in God's image which should give us a clue! This card is about the creation of the Inner- Twins of anima (female) and animus (male), and their intertwined Serpentine- Fire that builds the Life of the Outer Self out of the Big Three of Creation: Will (I), Mental Existence (Am) and the understood/identity (Me)! The I Am is truth of Self (Inner Twins), the identity (Me) is assumed and therefore, is a story we tell ourselves and can be changed daily! To think that the "me" is you, is a total falsehood perpetrated by "feelings" that are being manipulated by the subconscious parts of the brain.
The "me" is your mental creation of what you think you are, thereby being your creation and not your creator.
All of us have inherited this Inner-Cosmic Fire (perfect balance of fire and water) that defines Beauty in this physical world...and we are that Definition! The Birth of the Christos, or the Buddha/ Horus consciousness that is the "Son/Sun" of the Divine Creative, the Priestess being the "Abyssal Womb" and/or Dark Ocean of Mother Binah, each an Understood birth from the Androgynous Priestess, which is/was in the invisible Sephiroth-Daath- called Knowledge. The born solar self is represented on the Qabalistic Tree of Life as the 6th Sephira-Tiphareth/Beauty. The Number 6 is the totality of 3+3=6, the Trinity of Father, Son, and Grandfather and the Maid, Mother and Crone, producing the "Child" who is also a Divine Androgyne as shown by our brains whose left side is male and right side is female..
I Am Energy
We should love that adorable fire that enlivens our outer bodies but many of us seek it "outside" of ourselves; hence we knowingly or unknowingly reject our birthright as Suns of the Divine! By being true to yourself, you can not only "see" the "inner Bright and Warm Higher Conscious", the "Sun of the Divine Creative, but also feel it. However, to be true to you, Virtue must be defined in your actions as "Self". You are Energy, not seeking it!
I AM ME and by being the best Me I can be...I see the best in you!
Each of us is another way to be Me of the Divine trinity of I AM ME and therefore, know that Me is all about possibilities and is not written in non-flowing stone...it's written in the flow of thought! We are the Children of Stars, Microwaves of Spirit (Spiral)-Self Conscious, who came to enlighten ourselves and the children of Planets by making them in our own image, i.e., giving them our identity by adoption for the purpose of experience and/or in-form-action which makes information into knowledge. So, adopt your Body with loving acceptance---as you would the Christ Child because it is the outer child of the Inner Light/Life! Virtue built the body, so it could Be itself! Virtue states, "I Am the Will and the Way, I Am the wealth, I own the day"! Bodies give us, the infinite self, a point in time and therefore, a day!
R.I.P Yesterday!
Remember, we can't have days, unless we have forms made of time-space. My body makes my day! To Love my body is to have a day of intimate love.... to not love being, is to not be and that sadly states that we only have the yesterdays of the dead.
To avoid being "wanna-bees" (those who don't live in the now) we must remember our true Virtuous name---I AM and we must love the experience that name gives us ---"ME"! All other names are masks made of words that hide our True Identity. Y
Remembering that you are not a body seeking spirit, for that is totally backwards/upside down thinking. and keeps you from "remembering your true self". Spirit/Energy existed long before bodies, as Spirit is Spiral energy microwave frequencies that produce Life. The Body is Alive. Hence, we are Spirits seeking to bring our intelligence to matter, for Light is made of Photons, and as Photonic Being we have no mass. To have mass is to experience being therefore, we create an avatar of matter. To Experience Being, channels information into in-form-action, which becomes knowledge and knowledge is neither good nor bad. Knowledge gives us the Power to do our work which is Life- creating the alive. Knowledge is produced by experience which tells us what to do and what not to do to achieve a progressive goal of ever expanding life.
The Qabalist knows this virtue, as they practice the high magic (k) where a magus of does to others what they want done to themselves which is "being true to thine own self". The volume of Powerful flow of the Life Force (Fire/Water) is predetermined by the Virtue of the Manifestation. Open channels, unblocked by deception, denial, and bigotry, are the best way to stimulate the unrestricted flow of Life Force that contains manifested Solar Logos.
Often, people confuse morals with virtue, but morals can be rules imposed by others, whereas virtue is the morality of Knowing your-Self. The Virtuous know that when you treat others as you would be treated, you are practicing the only morality needed. Remember, one cannot give what one doesn't have! Therefore, without love in its three states of Eros (love of flesh), Philos (love of family and/or brotherly love) and Agapé (Spiritual love), "one knows not virtue".
We are all the Divine Creative Androgyne.
When the 3 of Wands Tarot is thrown during a divination:
- It can symbolize Pride and Arrogance, sometimes Power and established force and/or strength.
- Realization of hope, completion of labor, nobility, wealth, and success after struggle.
- It is a new surge of Power that sprouts new manifested ideas and motion, all within the next 3wks or 3 months. This card also adds acceleration to the surrounding cards in a reading.
- The querent is experiencing the conjoining of Body, Mind and Spirit.
- Putting thoughts into action.
- Keeping on with present activities for they are conceived and will soon flourish into manifestation.
- Clarity, where you are seeing yourself honestly.
- Established strength in enterprises where collaboration will favor the querent.
- Radiating intention, understanding the Will of Fire, and increasing energy to birth ideas.
- This is a highly active card of powerful direction, so it requires us to understand that Virtue is not chastity, no nothing so obviously prejudicial, but rather "Always being True to Thine own self". Here there is a warning not to compromise your inner integrity and passion for others.
- Be as Spring and flower in your own inner fire! Clarify your identity and " Above all things, Know thyself!"
When the 3 of Wands card is thrown it also indicates that:
- In the next 3 weeks or 3 months, it is important to operate from a place of virtue/integrity as you move forward in sunny new directions.
- This could also mean that you should wait until your heart, mind and body are aligned and share clarity of purpose before you act in or handle your relationships with the Aries people in your life; Aries -March 21 to April 21.
- The state of natural clarity is represented in this card by the crystalline structure in the background. While the flames represent the ability to await the natural unfolding of things to come.
- Inside all of us is the "inner fire of balanced integrity", it is an inheritance of our Divinity; However, one is reminded that the smoke of denial has dimmed the flames of I Am Me, as a spiritual expression of Life-self- awareness into the slave thinking of "I Want To be me"(Wanna-Be).
- When this card is thrown, it means it is time to act as a True You and not what others think you must do.
When ill defined by the surrounding negative cards in a reading, it implies:
- Moodiness and attention getting behavior.
- Overestimation of one's own energy.
